Mark your calendars for the 32nd edition of PMPA’s Management Update Conference. It will be held Thursday through Saturday, February 28–
March 1, 2008, in New Orleans, Louisiana. This year’s program includes a full line-up of professional speakers and breakout sessions from beginning to end. Jump-start your mornings with former Chicago Bears trainer Eugene Thomas in a pre-conference exercise session.
Economist Brian Beaulieu opens the conference on Thursday with “Projecting Future Industry Trends.” Dr. Michael Economides will talk about energy geopolitics. Then, George Kohlrieser, an organizational and clinical psychologist, will discuss high-performance leadership.
Gregory Casey, president and CEO of the Business-Industry Political Action Committee (BIPAC), will give us an insider’s understanding of Washington’s political machine, as well as his thoughts on the 2008 Presidential Campaign. Business leader John Milos will explain how to put your company on the fast track to growth and profitability. Pro Football Hall-of-Famer Deacon Jones is set to share his motivational stories and insights.
Rounding out the conference schedule on Saturday morning will be a representative from the local U.S. Coast Guard discussing the Coast Guard’s involvement and recovery efforts after Hurricane Katrina. Also in the works are optional tours of New Orleans’ many points of interest. These will be held on Saturday afternoon following the close of the conference.
