The CNC 8065 combines the high-end CNC technology of the company’s 8070 CNC with operating simplicity of its 8055 series. The industrial-hardened, PC-based, Windows XP 8065 CNC uses an easily programmed, icon-key-based conversational programming system. Programmers choose icon keys that feature symbols of the operation to be performed and then fill in the correct information from a part print using a single graphic assist screen. The 8065 also offers ISO G-code programming to present the operator with a choice of programming methods. It also has Ethernet communication capability and is equipped with a USB port as a standard feature, simplifying the CNC’s integration and allowing quick transfer of part programs. The 8065 is offered with a 10” or 15” high-resolution LCD TFT color monitor and can also be configured for touch screen operation.
