Winema will introduce the RV 30 Flexmaster, a fully CNC-controlled rotary indexing machine for medium and large workpieces. The machine is equipped with 10 clamping stations, as well as three optional axis units situated horizontally and axially for the machining of more complex components. Double machining of workpieces is possible via simultaneous feed of two workpieces or bars at two different clamping stations.

The clamping units accommodate workpiece diameters ranging from 15 to 50 mm and measuring as long as 200 mm. The workpieces are clamped into two precise two-jaw chucks, with a maximum of 18 axial and four radial units available. Raw materials are fed as barstock via the loading cartridge, or as a press raw piece or sawed section placed directly into the clamping chucks. Additionally, a contour lathe can be installed in front of the switch instead of the bar feeding system, enabling the machining of barstock ranging to 24 mm in diameter.

The system machines workpieces from as many as three sides simultaneously at each station, and can turn or reposition the workpieces at defined stations. The station with the longest machining time determines the cycle time. The machine can carry out radial drilling and thread milling or contour milling at as many as four stations. A flange-mounted angle head enables machining such as the milling of wrench sizes, polygon milling, slotting, front side partial circle drilling and contour milling.
