With the addition of Miyano to the Citizen family, Marubeni now is responsible for sales, service and parts for all Miyano products in North America. Miyano products include the BNX-42SY, a multifunction single turret turning center based on the BNJ twin turret machine. Citizen’s superimposed and synchronization technology makes this single turret machine behave like a twin turret. Citizen technology has also been implemented to reduce idle time by 42 percent and cycle time by 31 percent as compared with the BND-42S5, the company says.
The Cincom Evolution line includes the newest versions of the L20 and K16 Swiss-type lathes – the L20E Type IX and the K16E Type VII. The “E” stands for the “Evolution” of these models, which offer more tools, more flexibility and more value, according to the company.
