Goodbye Columbus

This year’s edition of PMTS boasted the highest attendance, most exhibitors and the largest square footage in the show’s history.

Good show, good run, goodbye Columbus, and hello Cleveland in 2019.

PMTS 2017 is in the past and on all accounts, it was a smash hit. Exhibitors, attendees, sponsors and conference participants have given it rave reviews. This year’s edition of PMTS boasted the highest attendance at 4,868, the most exhibitors at 293, and the largest square footage at 73,400 square feet in show history!

Since 2001, when the first biennial edition was held, PMTS has shown steady growth even through the Great Recession. Its focus on precision machined parts production has contributed to a loyal following from attendees and exhibitors alike. Manufacturers within our industry enjoy the fact that PMTS is concentrated and easy to navigate.

In 2019, the show will move to a new venue in Cleveland, Ohio. For the first time, PMTS will not be held in Columbus. Most of the attendees and exhibitors I spoke with are enthusiastic about the move. We anticipate that 2019 will be even bigger than 2017. Mark your calendars for April 2-4, 2019, and program your GPS for Cleveland’s convention center.
