The Indianapolis-based Chip Ganassi Racing teams use Okuma CNC machine tools and technology in their machine shop to produce parts and equipment that have contributed to 15 championships and more than 125 wins across Indy car and sports car racing.

Grant Weaver, team manager—shop operations for Chip Ganassi Racing, says, “Okuma’s commitment to excellence in its CNC machine tools has helped us produce championship winning products for our racecars. The productivity and accuracy levels that we are able to produce from the Okuma equipment have allowed us to manufacture extremely precise parts with finishes so exacting that we have been able to finish parts in house without having to use outside processes like grinding.”
