Lowell, Inc. names New Director of Metrology and Technology

Prior to taking the position, Mr. Stertz led the quality efforts at Lowell for 30 years.

Jim Stertz was appointed to fill the newly created position of director of metrology and technology at Lowell Inc.

Prior to accepting the position, Mr. Stertz led the quality efforts at Lowell for 30 years, including the implementation of its ISO 9001:2008 and 13485:2003 quality management systems. He is a senior member of ASQ, is a Six Sigma green belt and has been a featured speaker at the North American Conference of Metrology (NACMA), the HxGN Live International Conference, and the Manufacturers Alliance. Mr. Stertz's published articles have appeared in a number of leading quality and medical device manufacturing magazines.
