(Morton Grove, Illinois), a manufacturer of custom steel laminations and heavy-gauge metal stampings, has acquired the fineblanking and metal stamping business of Harig Manufacturing Corp. (Niles, Illinois), a manufacturer of precision parts for the automotive, appliance, power tool, aerospace and controls industries.

Harig’s fineblanking and metal stamping operations have now been incorporated into the Sko-Die facility in Morton Grove. The equipment now installed at Sko-Die includes four Feintool fineblanking presses, two 160-ton and two 250-ton presses. Two deburring systems have also been moved into the facility, and two of Harig’s experienced operators have joined the Sko-Die staff.
