The the new QLC and QLK advanced power chucks have bigger through-hole sizes to handle larger diameter work. Designed for high production, the new "King Size" models have 3.03" to 6.61" through-holes. In addition, the QLC chucks feature centrifugal force compensation for high gripping forces at higher cutting speeds, an internal grease supply with improved forced circulation for less maintenance and reduced downtime, plus a base jaw profile with increased base jaw support for more stable clamping, internally and externally. They also feature a nitrided chuck body for long life and lower operating costs, a simplified mounting design that utilizes a "screw on" locator inside the chuck for no overhang at the rear of the chuck, even when clamping. The QLK models, for lower speed applications, are available with compensation kits as a product upgrade. Available in diameters range from 6" to 15.5" sizes, the chucks meet ISO 9001 design and manufacturing requirements.
