Eural Gnutti S.p.A.’s alloy 6026 is designed to meet the 2011/65/EC (RoHS II) and 2000/53/EC (ELV) standards for the protection of the environment. The alloy is suitable for use in the automotive, electric and electronic industries and applications include hot forging, screws, bolts, nuts and threaded parts. The material can be machined on high-speed automatic lathes and is said to product small chips, increasing production capacity. It resists corrosion and offers medium-high mechanical properties, making it suitable for decorative and industrial hard anodizing. According to Eural, the 6026 alloy can replace 6061, 6082, 6064A, 6042, 6262, 6012, 2007, 2030 alloys.
