The Alpha series of automatic bar feeds are designed for pairing with entry level, CNC sliding headstock lathes. The Alpha ST 212 handles barstock diameters from 2 mm to 12 mm, and the ST 316 accommodates 3-mm to 16-mm diameters.

The ST 212 eliminates the usual problems associated with feeding small-diameter barstock by mechanically advancing the material to the loading position with a nylon screw. The ST 316 uses a gravity-fed rack and loading fingers that flip the barstock precisely into the channel. Both bar feeds are designed for simplicity of setup and operation. They each come with easy-to-use remote controls and manually adjusted outboard supports. A synchronization option is available for use with high-speed sliding headstock machines or when running special materials.
