The Rebel 102 features an 8-mm to120-mm diameter capacity range for feeding round, square and hexagonal barstock into CNC lathe spindles. With a large magazine capacity allowing for untended operation, the bar loader combines the advantages of auto bar loading with a small footprint, says the company. There is no contact between the barstock and the loading magazine when processing the bar, so high-peed machining is possible with the use of a properly sized lathe spindle liner.

The loading storage capacity is 40" (1,000 mm) deep. The inclination of the storage table can be adjusted to give the loader a “soft-load” effect for large-iameter bars. The machine can accommodate barstock with lengths ranging from 10" (250 mm) to 60" (1,520 mm). The maximum bar length is determined by the spindle length of the lathe and the chucking package. The barstock is loaded into the main spindle of the lathe by a linear feed mechanism with a toothed belt and servomotor. Because the machine runs on electricity, no shop air is required.
