The Dunham Tool Company has expanded its line of bar pull systems to include metric sizes and additional inch increments.
The added bar pull metric sizes include a 25-mm-diameter bar pull shank that mounts into a 25-mm boring toolholder. The bar pull grippers now include grippers for barstock sizes ranging from 3-mm to 30-mm diameters. These grippers will mount directly to the Dunham bar pull adapters or bar pull shanks.
The additional bar pull gripper inch sizes are 1/16" increments from 1 1/16" to 2". Therefore, the complete size range is from 3/16" to 2" in 1/16" increments.
The lightweight and self-activating bar pull system has no moving parts, mounts in 60 seconds with gripper change in about 30 seconds and does not interfere with other tools. Requiring only 1/4" of barstock engagement, the bar puller system pull positions the barstock within 0.001".
