Slater Tools' 12-mm shank Swiss-type rotary broach toolholder relies on the design of the company's 8-mm broach holder. This gives users of new smaller Swiss-type automatics the robust tooling of larger automatics. Broaches are available from square, hex, double-hex, spline, serration and other shapes on all popular machining materials. Rotary broaching, also known as wobble broaching, eliminates the need for secondary operations. The adjustable toolholder is for use on any type of CNC or manual turning, milling, drilling or screw machine.
