A new line of inserted broaching tools for lathes and mills is based on the concept of reciprocating broaching. These tools allow keyway broaching on existing machine tools, which eliminates second operation setup on a separate machine and allows for greater positioning accuracy when alignment is an issue. Available in standard widths from 2 to 12 mm and depths from 1 to 8.5 mm with a variety of keyway tolerance classes, the line also includes tools for chamfering the keyway.
