The company has announced the addition of a series of carbide tipped capscrew counterbores to compliment their family of carbide tipped cutting tools.

These new tools are available in many popular capscrew inch and metric sizes. They feature heat-treated alloy steel straight shanks, with integral pilots and material specific carbide grades. The pilots are manufactured in nominal screw body diameters as well as 1/64" and 1/32" oversize diameters. Metric sizes are also available and specials will be quoted on request, says the company.

The company's counterbores are designed with helical flutes to provide positive effective rake. The end cutting edges are sharpened slightly ahead of center to provide a shearing cutting action and eliminate chatter.
