The Tongtai TNL-120A-II is a high-speed, high-precision CNC turning center cast featuring precision linear ways and large servomotors that provide fast rapid traverse rates and accurate positioning, the company says. The lathe offers a standard turning diameter of 11.8”, a swing over bed of 24” and 2.5” bar capacity. Its 4,500-rpm spindle is driven by a high-torque motor that delivers plenty of power. A 12-station bidirectional turret or optional VDI turret provides 0.3-sec. indexing as well as coolant through the toolholders. A chip conveyor, programmable tailstock quill, and a 10” diameter, three-jaw hydraulic chuck are standard. Also standard is a Fanuc OiT-C control with color LCD and MDI keypad.
