The new XT Precision Collet System is useful for long run repeatability on CNC milling, drilling and reaming operations. The accuracy and gripping pressure ensures precise tool centering and rigidity--tools last longer and cut more accurately. This balanced chip-cutting feature increases metal removal. Single angle collet chuck design efficiently transfers torque on the compression nut into gripping force on the tool. Improved gripping pressure through the full 0.040" (1 mm) collapsibility results in greatly improved tool life. Equipped with these XT Precision Collets, the toolholder takes the thrust of drilling and reaming as well as milling.
