The ER Collet system is used for boring, milling, reaming, tapping and grinding. It includes collets in two precision levels: standard and ultra-precision (UP). Offered in standard and metric sizes, both levels range from the ER 8 series to the ER 50 series. These collets can clamp tool shanks ranging from 0.2 mm (0.0079") to 34.0 mm (1.3386"). Collets for tapping applications are available in rigid tapping and axially compensating styles.
