Fusing the capabilities of a simultaneous five-axis machining center and CNC turning center, the Integrex e-1550V accomplishes complete machining of large workpieces in a single setup through a 50-hp, 12,000-rpm milling spindle that can tilt 150 degrees and a 50-hp, 300 rpm rotating table. Maximum workpiece dimensions are 78.7" × 56.7" (11,000 lbs); maximum swing/turning diameter is 78.7".

Productivity is further enhanced by a standard two-pallet changer and 40-tool magazine (with options or up to 330 tools available). Rapid traverse rates in XYZ are 1,575 ipm.

The "e" in the e-1550V is the e-Tower, integrating information technology advantages with the Integrex's advanced multitasking technology. Through the e-Tower, instructions, reports, alarm notifications and other messages can be delivered to and from the machine tool from remote locations. A multi-purpose CCD camera delivers visual checks and confirmations with ease, the company says.
