The CUT-TN inserts carried by FLP Tooling Inc. offers a negative cutoff application allowing for faster cutoff operation. The reinforced edge adds extra cutting strength for machining at high feed rates and with hard materials. It is available up to 42-mm diameter. In addition to these inserts, a new HTX coating is available on UL/UN/UR inserts. The HTX coating is formulated with K05 carbide grade and is effective for machining abrasive materials such as aluminum, abrasive steel and titanium.
