Disc Brushes For In-Machine Deburring

Weiler Corporation now offers the Bore-Rx line of internal deburring brushes. Designed to increase productivity of in-machine deburring in CNC machining centers, the brushes easily remove all burrs found at intersecting holes and other internal edges of the workpiece and can also be used for bore finishing applications. The brushes remove internal edge burrs, which is often met using inefficient tube or "bottle" brushes.

Designed to increase productivity of in-machine deburring in CNC machining centers, the brushes easily remove all burrs found at intersecting holes and other internal edges of the workpiece and can also be used for bore finishing applications.

The brushes remove internal edge burrs, which is often met using inefficient tube or "bottle" brushes. Bore-Rx brushes have ten times more filament density than tube brushes allowing them to remove even well-attached burrs and boast an expanded lifespan, the company says.

Tube brushes cannot be operated at high rpms and are prone to untwist when used in both directions of spindle rotation. These brushes correct these disadvantages by operating at high rpms and rotating in both directions.

By using Bore-Rx brushes, off-hand deburring is eliminated, resulting in a decrease of direct labor content and increase in part-to-part consistency. The brushes are available in sizes ranging from 3/4" to 4" in either wire or abrasive nylon filament.
