Magafor offers an eight-function multi "V" solid carbide tooling starting at 0.020" diameter to 0.787" diameter for centering/spotting, V-grooving, engraving, countering, interpolation drilling, chamfering and longitudinal chamfers. The combination of multiple machining processes results in reduction times for operating and setup, saving toolholder usage for other tools when needed on complex jobs. One of the keys to it's success, according to the company, is that web timing on it's point geometry has allowed for extended wear and more accuracy for spotting.
