The M1 Star EBG bore gage is designed for precision measuring of inside diameter, ovality and taper, and it provides 0.5 micron repeatability over a measuring range from 3 to 300 mm.
The gage incorporates a wear-free measuring transducer that provides excellent metrological performance while providing high reliability and durability. The gages have IP67 protection against water and coolant, incorporate a durable, field-replaceable cable, and its shock-proof construction provides a long and accurate life, according to the company.
The gages can be retooled using interchangeable plug gages and are available in blind-, super-blind and through-bore styles. Deep bore plugs, as well as plugs with multiple diameters and configurations are also available.
