The specialized CNC endworking machine model CL-132-5000 is designed for simultaneous and dual-ended chamfering, facing, centering, drilling, boring and neck turning of solid and/or tube-type bars up to 5 m (16.4 ft.) in length. The working range and machining capacity of the machine comes equipped with two opposed machining and positioning units, each unit containing a heavy duty and high precision 20-hp spindle configured for ISO-50 taper quick-change toolholders. Each of the opposed machining units are centrally mounted on independent cast iron saddles, which move along hardened and precision ground steel guideways that are fixed to the machine bed and structure.

Saddle positioning is carried out by means of precision ballscrews and brushless motors. The saddles are moved with independent positioning at strategic locations along the length of the machine bed. A specially designed, floating jaw system is optionally available for tube applications that require a clamped position relative to the internal diameter or shape of the tube.
