Ingersoll Cutting Tools expands its HiPOSMicro and ChipSurfer lines for use on Swiss-type machines, lathe live spindles and small spindle machining centers. These lines offer small-diameter solid carbide and indexable tools (0.250" to 0.625"). The quick-change ChipSurfer system is included in the HiPOSMicro line. Large-diameter indexables (0.750" to 2.00") are offered with a cylindrical shank that fits various ER collets, as well as high shear, double positive geometries with free cutting action for low horsepower machines.
