According to the company, the system's double-angle design ensures parallel gripping with maximum grip force, and it has a built-in safety stop to prevent the collet from over-expanding piece spindle arbor construction. The closing mechanism is said to hold the workpiece rigid for better surface finishes and concentricity. The 16C expanding collets can be used in milling applications with a pneumatic collet block mounted on the table.
