Tri-Flow is a filtration concept that delivers HEPA-like performance with a MERV 16 rating. The filters are a higher-performing alternative to bag, cartridge and pocket filters, which are typically rated MERV 10-13. They have a small footprint and an exceptionally large filter surface area. The filtersprovide 2 to 3 times more filtration compared with similarly dimensioned bag (pocket) filters, the company says.

Minimizing the size of a filter lowers manufacturing costs and gives the OEM or end user valuable flexibility on where to locate the filter.

The Tri-Flow design provides inline pulse jet cleaning and maintains a low operating pressure drop. Filter efficiencies of 99.999 percent on 0.5 micron and larger particles (by weight) are typical.

The filters are self-supporting and are manufactured using filter media tailored to the application. There are seven filter media, including options for oleophobic, high temperature and anti-static applications. The company says all media is pleated and continuously bonded for maximum dimensional stability and filtration integrity. A rigid base molding is designed to protect the elements; a resilient mounting flange is designed to provide a dust seal that prevents bypass.

These elements have a multi-year service life for virtually all industrial applications. Filter change-out is said to be fast and “tool-free” and is done from outside the collector, from the clean air plenum side.
