Flow Meter Handles Suspended Particles

The HTTF Ultrasonic flow meters are for machine tool coolant lines and other industrial processes where contaminants can cause inaccurate readings. The non-invasive meters are not affected by suspended solids or gas pockets and provide accurate flow measurement. Because they clamp onto the outside of the pipe, they are easy and economical to install, the company says.

The meters can be used with carbon steel and stainless steel pipes and copper and plastic tubing in sizes from 1/2" (12 mm) to 2" (50 mm) with liquid temperatures from 0°F to 180°F (-20°C to 85°C). The enclosure is weather proof for indoor or outdoor mounting and is available with or without a rate and totalizer display. Remote mount transducers are available for pipe sizes from ''/z" (12 mm) to 100" (2540 mm).

UItraLink, a Windows compatible software utility, is available for configuration and in-field calibration.
