Miyano's ABX051TH2 is capable of processing high-end parts efficiently in a single setup. Each of the upper two turrets on the left and right side features a Y-axis control. A lower turret, capable of working on both the left and right sides, makes a total of 36 tools (with all tool stations able to use live tools) available to perform complex simultaneous front and back operations in one setup.
The turning center has a maximum bar capacity of 51 mm (2.01") and can accommodate parts of a variety of lengths. Both the left and right spindles have a speed range of 50 to 5,000 rpm. The machine also uses a programmable servo-style parts catcher, allowing users to easily set a custom retrieval point for finished work.
