Micro Line high speed spindles for Swiss turning are described as compact and powerful. In addition to the 25-mm diameter model, 20- and 22-mm versions have been added to the line. For example, the Model HT 25S 60, which is 63.3 mm long, is suitable for space-constrained tool zones in widely used Swiss-type machines. Right hand spindles are available. The spindles use synchronous, DC motors and operate at speeds as high as 120,000 rpm. They are designed for machining applications involving micro-milling and drilling tools, as well as engraving and fine milling. They feature high rigidity and precision (less than 2 microns runout) to increase surface quality and machining accuracy, the company says.

Also on display will be the Witte vacuum workholding chucks, pumps and accessories, including the circular grid vacuum chucks, for metal, graphite, ceramic, plastic, exotic alloys and wafers.
