The MSF 522/6 bar feeder was developed for integration with the MultiDECO 20/6 multispindle. These bar feeders can accommodate up to 100 bars, depending on bar size. Bar diameter capacities range from 2 mm to 32 mm, depending on the machine model, and bar lengths can be up to 4,000 mm. The bar feeders offer continuous production of up to 35 parts per minute. Setup data is conveniently entered on the machine's CNC screen. Bar feeders permit less operator intervention and better efficiencies due to increased uptime and unattended machining. These hydrodynamic style bar feeders offer less noise and vibration because of the oil filled tube, higher rotational speeds, automatic remnant retract, and better control of part length. The design also permits easy and fast (less than 30 seconds) loading. The SSF magazine-style bar feeders are designed for use with DECO 2000 Swiss-type automatics, and the MSF bundle-style bar feeders are integrated with the MultiDECO multispindles. Also available are the MSL multispindle stock-reel loaders.
