The AMMO (Access Manufacturing Management Overlay) version 4.50 from Freedom Applications is the latest version of its MRP software system designed specifically for small to mid-sized manufacturers and machine shops.
Version 4.50 features various improvements and valuable changes to the original AMMO operating system to help it meet the continuously changing business environments users of the system deal with.
Some of the important changes and improvements in the system include upgrading AMMO to run in the MS Access 2003 environment; improvements to the Financials module components, including new and improved features to help the system meet various business issues, such as the ability to set a default currency other than the U.S. dollar, and the ability to assign General Leger accounts to any finished part, intermediate parts or raw materials and more; and improvements to the Shop module, such as a kitting functionality, changes in the appearance of how inventory is displayed, and more.
