Surfware Inc. has created new features in Surfcam Velocity 4 Powered by TrueMill, including major improvements to three-axis finishing and four- and five-axis machining. For three-axis finishing, new high-speed machining strategies feature faster processing, reduced length of rapid motions, tapered tool support, improved surface finish and more.

Surfware Inc. has created new features in Surfcam Velocity 4 Powered by TrueMill, including major improvements to three-axis finishing and four- and five-axis machining. For three-axis finishing, new high-speed machining strategies feature faster processing, reduced length of rapid motions, tapered tool support, improved surface finish and more.

 

Its four- and five-axis machining includes precise control over every aspect of multi-axis machining ensuring safe tool motion in the most challenging applications, the company says. Support for all standard tools with collision checking, avoidance, toolpath containment and more are included.

 

TrueMill now has an improved feed rate optimization, reduced rapid motions and availability of custom designed TrueMill Series tools.
