According to Kennametal, higher cutting speeds, longer tool life and increased productivity when machining stainless steels are what users can expect from the upgraded line of KC9225 inserts, part of the Kenna Perfect turning system from Kennametal Inc.
Enhanced post-coat finishing processes are designed to reduce chip hammering and built-up edge conditions, extending tool life and preventing insert damage, particularly in applications demanding continuous to lightly interrupted cuts at high cutting speeds.
