The corresponding line of grooving inserts is engineered for cutting shallow grooves in various applications. Each insert provides four edges for cutting grooves, which is said to reduce the cost per edge and make the grooving operation more economical. According to the company, if one edge of the insert fails, the others are unlikely to be affected.
