The large-diameter boring system is designed for high precision finishing of bores from 5.91" to 46.46". The compact configuration makes it especially suited for use on production machines such as boring mills and machining centers with spindle taper sizes of 40 and larger.
The system consists of a small number of modular components, including a flange, extension slides, and insert holders, as well as a high precision boring head. Most components are universally used with the specific bore diameter being dependent only on the selection of the appropriate slide. Each extension slide has an adjustment range of more than 2.75" in diameter.
