REM Sales offers Tsugami’s P01, a lathe created specifically to machine micro parts. The automatic lathe features a maximum bar capacity of 3 mm and 50,000-rpm cross rotary tools. The main spindle and subspindle have standard speeds of 25,000 rpm with a full C-axis control. A tool zone includes six turning tools, two cross rotary tools, three ID tools and three backworking tools. Adjustable air chucks on the main and subspindle ensure that parts are not damaged during metal removal. The lathe is equipped with a Fanuc 32i-A CNC.
