The Omnivue "Max" version is especially useful for longer length inspection and assembly applications. The standard Omnivue arm reach is 35", which is good for small work areas and workstations where space is limited.

The Omnivue Max uses three 9-W compact fluorescent (5,000K) lamps, which provide two light levels--27 W of light from the top and both sides of the magnifier or 18 W of side-to-side lighting. Both light levels are available with a touch of a three-way switch. UVA lamps are optional.

The light also features a large (6.5" × 4.35") three-diopter optical quality glass magnifying lens, which tilts independently of the light source for optimum positioning. This feature reduces glare from overhead lighting and reduces unnecessary bending or slouching since the lens and head move effortlessly toward the user in a variety of positions. The light also offers the choice of two optional "Add-X" lenses that increase magnification up to 7 and 15 diopters.

The light includes an industrial-grade clamp for traditional work surface mounting. A 1/2" pin mount is also offered for production workbenches. Plus, an optional table base or portable stand is available for easy mobility.
