Rosler’s MAX-IMP sensor system guarantees precise, optimum blast patterns while producing an effective and efficient blasting process, the company says. A pneumatically operated sensor is mounted in the peripheral area and driven into the hotspot during the blasting process. The measured blast pattern data is available in only 3 to 5 seconds, allowing analysis to take place during normal production and increase productivity, the company says. The sensor system virtually eliminates control cage setting errors.

The sensor system also offers the shortest possible blast time durations while decreasing blast media consumption, spare parts usage and unscheduled downtime, according to the company.
