Mori Seiki's NZ2000 T3Y3 is a multi-axis machine manufactured with three turrets with built-in milling motors and a Y-axis function. Built for mass production machining, the machine series is a solution for machining bar material, shafts, flanges and precision equipment. The machine is designed to provide synchronized machining and reduced machining time. The machine with the two-turret, two-spindle specifications can reduce machining time by approximately 30 percent when compared to conventional machines, the company says. The machine's second turret features a ram structure, which ensures higher chip disposal ability. A 3D interference checking function that runs on the MAPPS III next generation operating system is incorporated into the NZ Series design, enabling operators to monitor the complex movements of the turrets in real time.
