The ACW series of multi-spindles provides improved performance, flexibility and ease of operation, the company says. According to the company, the 6-44 CNC machine offers benefits such as a reduction in setup times; improved machine flexibility; reduced cycle times; ability to produce complex and high accuracy parts; ability to machine difficult-to-cut materials; and lower noise levels. The machine includes four standard cross slides in positions one, two, three and six; two dual-axis CNC slides in positions four and five with programmable feed rates; and two single-axis long slides in positions four and five. The machine’s spindle speed runs at 150 to 2,250 rpm, has a bar feed length of 12.7 mm to 178 mm, has a minimum cycle time of 3 seconds and an index time of 1.7 seconds.
