The company's Integrex e-410H, a multi-tasking machine delivering turning, milling, drilling, tapping and other operations in one setup, now contains a material-handling robot. Called the Integrex e-bot Cell 720, it is designed to provide up to 720 hours of automated production or 90 8-hour shifts, nonstop, according to the company.

As a CNC turning center, it is a two-spindle machine with the same specifications for both spindles: a 35 hp output and a 4,000 rpm maximum spindle speed with 10" chucks on each spindle. As a machining center, it also has a high speed rotary tool spindle with 30 hp and 12,000 rpm maximum speed. The Y-axis stroke is 16.4", which is as wide as a machining center. Rapid traverse rates are 1,969 ipm in the XYZ axes.

The 720 is also designed to accommodate a variety of workpieces. Even with changes in production lot sizes, labor requirements are kept to a minimum.

The e-410H also features the company's e-Tower, which combines electronic communication tools for integrated production management functions, such as work scheduling, production monitoring and machine status, along with machine operation functions.
