The Smart presetter is a basic camera unit with a 3” color screen that has displays for X- and Z-axis toolsetting. This model is especially good for those requiring no contact. Precise glass scales will accurately measure the dimensions of the tool and provides absolute and deviation measuring for each axis. Smart comes standard with 40- and 50-taper models and has adapters available for other sizes.

The company’s TCAM2 presetter comes standard with features and benefits found in previous models, as well as a 6.7" LCD display with chip edge inspection. This extra large display is especially useful for easy viewing, while the chip edge inspection feature enables users to view in detail, the company says. Additionally, the TCAM2’s display features drop-down menus and is operated by the click of a mouse.

All presetter models use electronic parallel correction. Each model also produces runout less than 0.00008" with its needle bearing basket. The compact tabletop units are suitable for all tool measuring and presetting applications, and do not require any special computer or programming knowledge. All models are designed to be on the shop floor next to the machines.
