Newly-Designed Bar Feeders

Designed for feeding round, square and hexagonal bar material into CNC lathes, the FMB Turbo 3-26 and Turbo 3-36 from Edge Technologies feature quick-change polyurethane guide channels that allow for quiet operation at high rpm while feeding stock. These feeders are compatible with all types of sliding or fixed, CNC or cam-operated lathes with spindle bores as large as 36 mm. Edge Technologies says the main beam and support stands are resistant to bending, which keeps vibration from bent bars to a minimum, thus ensuring smooth operation.

Edge Technologies says the main beam and support stands are resistant to bending, which keeps vibration from bent bars to a minimum, thus ensuring smooth operation. The double-pusher, space-saving design is said to be 4' shorter than single pusher bar feeders.

Both models are equipped with a GE Fanuc SPS controller and a headstock synchronization device, which allows rapid backward/forward movements on sliding headstock lathes without forward feed pressure from the bar pusher.
