PRAB’s Pivot Belt conveyor is engineered specifically for moving oily, thin-gage trim scrap, stamping slugs, motor laminations and eyelet press scrap without carryover. The pivoting sections and raised dimpled Rigidized steel belt eliminate carryover of scrap that gets stuck in other conveyors, the company says.

Raised pusher flights provide positive material flow as the one-piece pan collects waste fluid for safe disposal or recycling. The overlapping hinged pans individually pivot, preventing scrap from getting lodged in the belt and facilitating full discharge of scrap. Belt sizes are available in either 2.5” or 4” pitch. Custom skirts, chutes and hoppers are available to accommodate a range of scrap challenges. Other features include built-in automatic overload protection; heavy duty side frames, reinforced with abrasion resistant track for longer life; and side wings and flights that are integrally die-formed to the pan.
