The precision angular measuring and alignment kit contains an angular measuring sensitivity of better than 1 arcsecond (0.0003 degrees). This system is designed for aligning precision mounts and fixtures, antenna arrays, molding machine platens, press faces and other assemblies. Precision angles can be measured and checked over surfaces that are up to 40' in length. This is especially for surface profiling and checking granite plates.

This alignment kit consists of a laser transmitter that projects a laser to a small prism assembly that is secured to the machine that is to be measured. The laser beam, reflected back from the prism, is picked up by a digital receiver, and the display measures the deflection of the laser beam for measuring angles. The laser and prism can be moved to within 2" of each other and separated by lengths up to 40'. The prism assembly is mounted in a durable aluminum enclosure with mounting points for easy attachment to machine tools and moving assemblies. An optional computer interface provides data recording and connects to popular spreadsheets for displaying and printing alignment results.
