ShrinkSet TMM, a complete presetting and inductive heat shrink system from Parlec, offers users a dual-manufacturing, combining tool presetting, measuring and qualifying. This heat shrink system is equipped with the company’s Series 1500, including ParleVision PSC, the company’s latest video measuring technology and the PGC Plus 6, its complete tool data management and communication software.
The system provides users with a three-step process: assemble and cool the tool, certify the tool assembly and process the tool data. All three steps can be performed using a simple and intuitive user interface displayed on a large LCD touchscreen monitor.
The fully integrated system comes with various standard features, including the Cool-to-the-Coretechnology, which cools and dries an entire tool in less than 2 minutes, allowing for immediate tool use and more rapid production.
The company has also included its Precision Spindle Slide Immersion system, which eliminates the need for operators to handle hot tools directly, reducing the likelihood of contact burns and other injuries. Additional system features include automatic coil positioning, a 10 kW frequency generator, a water bath for tool cooling, a tool tray and a label printer with configurable formats.
The system is effective on tool diameters from 4 mm to 32 mm. Optional accessories include a quick-change, large-diameter induction head for tool diameters from 32 mm to 50 mm, and heat shrink setting adapters for use on tools with backup screws.
