Third Wave Systems Inc. released AdvantEdge Production Module version 5.5, which is process-analysis software that integrates workpiece material properties, CAD/CAM inputs and machine dynamics to help users identify opportunities for process improvements.
New and/or enhanced features include automated turning optimization and expanded material model database in the Production Module 2D. Production Module 3D contains selective force computation and expanded Vericut import capabilities. Also, force computation is 2 times as fast as version 5.4.
Other benefits in version 5.5, include reduced cycle times, maximized machine use and reduced tool breakage.
