Absolute Machine Tools' Ecoca SJ-20 CNC turning center has a 45-degree slant bed lathe. This turning center is especially useful for high production and job shop operations requiring speed, power and accuracy for small-parts turning. The machine features linear ways for fast feed rates. The coolant tank is separate from the machine base to prevent heat transfer from the coolant to the machine casting, which promotes easy clean out and maintenance.

The machine's spindle structure is mounted using precision double row roller bearings in conjunction with angular contract ball bearings for high rigidity and accuracy. The spindle quill inner and outer linings are precision ground for fit with the spindle. The spindle is driven by a 10-hp dual wound high torque motor that provides plenty of power throughout the complete rpm range.

An optional bar feed package is available for shops seeking turnkey productivity. Lathes can also be fitted with a C axis and live tools for applications requiring milling operations.
